The ingredients needed to make Lachaydaar Rabri:
  1. Get 2 kg milk
  2. Prepare Pista flakes as required
  3. Prepare Almond flakes as required

Rabri or lachha rabri is a popular North Indian dessert made from milk. Milk is continuously simmered and reduced on low flame to form lachha or layers of malai in it. It's an easy preparation but requires constant stirring. You can take a heavy bottom pan or kadhai and let the milk simmer on low flame.

Instructions to make Lachaydaar Rabri:
  1. Bari degchi mein doodh boil honay rakh dain
  2. Boil ho jaye tou aanch halki kar dain ta ke ahista ahista boil hota rahey. Balai degchi ki side py karty jaen.
  3. Jab doodh pak kar 1/4 reh jaye tou Rabri tyar hai.
  4. Pista or badam sy garinsh karen, thandi kar ke serve karen. Maza a jaye ga garmion mein

It's an easy preparation but requires constant stirring. You can take a heavy bottom pan or kadhai and let the milk simmer on low flame. Keep stirring in between till you see milk reduced down to more than half. Rabri is a delightful rich sweet made by reducing full fat milk on low heat for hours. Large quantity of milk simmers so much so that you have creamy pinkish semi thick evaporated milk as rabadi.
